My journey to being on TV with Mark Bouris...well, almost!
Well hello there!
You are not forgotten...I've been meaning to share exciting news from Sattwa HQ
The main story
It is International Womens' Day as I began to write this and it feels like a great time our history to be a woman and raising our girls to be brave, resourceful and loving.
While our social media feeds were full of women celebrating each other, achievement or taking some time for self care, there is also increasing awareness, support and action in areas that need to change.
To acknowledge International Womens' Day and that not all women have the same security and support; Sattwa is proudly donating 20% of online sales until the end of the month to the Sisterhood Charity. (A non-govt group providing support and care for local women affected by domestic violence).
This group is special because it provides funding to one of the only shelters in the state that has all the support resources under one roof...
This shelter is important as it allows mothers to bring their children with them when leaving a violent partner.
A special group indeed.
I have also been invited to speak a Sisterhood Charity event next week. The theme for the night is "self care".
Isn't it a perfect fit for Sattwa?
Spritzing essential oil goodness, all instantly nourishing and gorgeous - while they sip a glass of champagne or two?
There will also be a stylist and representative from the shelter to share a story (anonymously) about how they have made a difference.
I always leave these events feeling full of admiration for their strength and gratitude for all that I have.
Have you heard the new tv show "The Mentor" with Mark Bouris? It is coming soon to Ch7. Well I did something a bit crazy over the Summer....I auditioned for the show!
It was exciting that I was shortlisted and was contacted by the casting agent at the network. Unfortunately you won't be seeing all my wonderful and woeful - I haven't progressed any further. I think perhaps they were looking for someone with more drama (but I can only be authentic and be true to myself)
I'm all about happiness, calm and beauty - tantrums are not what my brand is about! LOL!!
It was a huge task to complete the application and video submission- but a great push out of my comfort zone to kick off the year.
It also inspired my next challenge...I'm entering Sattwa in the Australian Beauty Awards!
But I can't win this without your help. ..
I am completing the entry and would love to know your experience by the weekend. If you love the way ;
Sattwa products uplift or calm your mood....
Or the way they make your skin feel....
Or do you love that they are versatile or easy to use in your busy day...
Or have loved something about how you have felt after being served by me at the organic markets...
Or when your online order of arrives at your door?
I would really love to hear about it. You can be anonymous, or include a photo to share your thoughts.
Simply hit reply, write a product review on the online store, or post it/tag Sattwaskincare on social media. (where ever is easiest for you!)
Thank you for reading all the happenings!
With love and best wishes
